What is the Alberta law on using car seats and booster seats?

According to Alberta law, any child under six years of age whose weight is under 18 kg. (40 lbs.) must be properly secured in a child car seat that conforms to Canadian Motor Vehicle Safety Standards. In addition, the car seat must be used according to the car seat and vehicle manufacturer's guidelines.

It is recommended that a child uses a booster seat if they are under nine years old, weigh between 18-36 kgs. (40-80 lbs.), or measure less than 145 cm. (4' 9").

How do I get and return my rental equipment?

We offer flexibility for pick-up and return of your rentals. Use our convenient Calgary International Airport pick-up/return location, pick-up or return the items to our office or take advantage of our delivery service – just let us know your preference when you reserve.

How do I reserve rental equipment?

You can reserve online or by phone 403-685-2212 or toll-free at 1-877-572-2229. All reservations require a credit card (Visa or MasterCard) to secure the booking and for a damage deposit, which is required on some items. Your credit card will not be charged until 48 hours prior to your rental.
We will confirm your reservation either by email or telephone within 24 hours of the reservation being made. 
Please note a rental agreement must be signed/accepted prior to all rentals.

Is there a minimum charge to rent and do you accept cash?

There is a $35 minimum rental charge (excluding delivery and Goods and Services Tax of 5%).
We accept cash (who doesn’t?), but a credit card is still required for reservation and damage deposit purposes.

Can I cancel my reservation?

Absolutely -- We understand that plans do change especially with kids, but please remember to cancel your reservation at least 48 hours prior to the start of your rental to avoid an administration fee of $40.

Can I keep my equipment for longer?

If you require an extension on your rental or if you know you’ll be late, please call us so as to minimize inconvenience for others and to avoid any late charges. 

Do you offer long-term rentals or group rates?

Indeed we do. Please contact us directly for long-term and group rental rates.

Whoops. It got busted. What now?

That’s what damage deposits are for.  Was it early into your trip? Contact us and we can arrange to get you another one at our earliest convenience.
Please note, if you rented a car seat and were in a motor vehicle accident (no matter how slight) we destroy the item. You will NOT be charged for its replacement cost.
