By signing or accepting (online) the conditions of this rental agreement, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agree to abide by the terms below.  
1.  Reservations and payment of rental fees
  • A minimum order of $35.00 CDN not including GST (5%) and delivery is required.
  • To secure your reservation a credit card will be required.  Baby On The Move will confirm your reservation either by email or telephone within 24 hours of the reservation being made.  
  • Payment of the full amount of the rental fee and delivery (if applicable) will be charged to your credit card 48 hours prior to the start of the rental period.
  • A damage deposit may be required on some items.  
2.    Cancellation policy
  • All cancellations must be made 48 hours before the pre-arranged pick-up or delivery time in order to avoid an administration fee of $40, which will be charged to your credit card.
3.    Delivery:
  • At the time of reservation, please specify whether you require:
a. Pick-up/drop off location at the Calgary International Airport,
b. Delivery service to your accommodation,  
c. Self service pick-up/drop-off at Baby On The Move’s office or
d. A combination of the above for delivering or returning the rental equipment.
  • If you require delivery service, you will be advised of the applicable charges at the time of reservation.

4.    Returning equipment:
  • It is your responsibility to ensure that all rented items are available for pick-up or dropped off or at the agreed upon time and location.
  • Damaged/lost equipment – In the event the rental equipment is lost, stolen or damaged (with the exception of car seats involved in a collision) the full replacement or repair cost will be charged to your credit card.  Please take good care of the items as well as the packing material.  We expect normal wear and tear, so please tell us if something is no longer functioning properly. If upon delivery of the equipment you find an item is damaged or if your rented car seat is in a motor vehicle accident no matter how slight, please contact Baby On The Move immediately and we will replace it with the same or similar items at our earliest convenience.  
  • Late returns – Equipment is due back by the return date and time specified at the time of reservation.  If you require an extension on the rental period or if you know you will be late, please call (403) 685-2212 or 1-877-572-2229 so as to minimize inconvenience for others and to avoid additional late charges for you.  Late returns are subject to a one-day rental charge on each item for each day or portion of a day that equipment is returned after the specified return date and time on your reservation.
  • Cleaning charges  - A cleaning charge (minimum of $10 per item) will be assessed and charged to your credit card for any item that is returned excessively soiled and requiring professional cleaning services. Excessive soiling may include chewing gum, vomit, stickers, crayon, markers, or other difficult to remove substances.
5.    Instructions for using equipment
By renting the equipment you agree to familiarize yourself with how to use and/or properly install the equipment.  Manufacturer’s instruction manuals are provided with all rental equipment.  Baby On The Move is also available if you have any questions on how to use the equipment. You acknowledge that Baby On The Move* is not responsible for your failure to abide by recommendations or instructions in said manuals.  For liability reasons, Baby On The Move* cannot install car seats or assemble cribs.
6.    Waiver of liability & Indemnity
  • Waiver of liability: By accepting and using the equipment on behalf of yourself and all others that may use the equipment, you acknowledge the equipment is being used at your own risk.  You agree to relieve Baby On The Move* of all liability for loss, damage or injury associated with the use of the rental equipment, from any cause whatsoever, including negligence.
Baby On The Move* will not be responsible for accidents or injuries caused directly or indirectly by the use or misuse of our rental equipment. By signing or accepting this agreement, you agree to accept full responsibility for using the rental equipment.
  • Indemnity: You agree to defend, fully indemnify and hold harmless Baby On The Move* from and against any and all claims, demands, suits, actions, causes of action and/or liability, of any kind whatsoever, for damages, losses, costs and/or expenses (including legal fees and disbursements) arising in connection with this Agreement, including without limitation: (i) any and all breaches by you of any terms or conditions of this Agreement; (ii) damages to persons or property, personal injury or death caused by your negligent or willful acts or omissions arising in connection with this Agreement; and (iii) any claim by a third party against Baby On The Move*.

I HAVE READ THE TERMS OF THIS AGREEMENT AND AGREE TO BE LEGALLY BOUND BY THEM.
